I have some sort of problem... I can't connect to online mode at all. I have tried to put login name and pass to rbr.ini file and without it. It connects long time and then I get timeout and when I try again it says bad login or wrong pass.

Please first try delete all section [RBRTMSettings] in RichardBurnsRally.ini. If it doesnt help, try add this:

[RBRTMSettings]
OnlineServer = rbr.hopto.org

If this also doesnt help, try this:

[RBRTMSettings]
OnlineServer = speed.onlinegames.cz

What is type of your connection? Are you behind proxy or firewall? 0.6 Worked fine?

Try check, if you have not checked "Work Offline" in Internet Explorer

Update: I looked logs, and there are successful request 10:06 - 10:13 and 11:06 - 11:12 from you, so connection and login are OK. So problems must be elsewhere Sad . But where? Please try in login process pressing several times "shift" key.

Yeah the connection is ok and also the 0.6 version does work, that shift key trick didn't help.

In logs are requests by you again at 12:02. Everything looks OK at server side. I send you BETA version, which has connection logging enable. Please try it.

Hi Wally,

I just did a 10 stage rally (the FOG Weekly Rally #2), that was setup using version 0.60. Apart from the fact that there were no Service Areas setup in it, when I started the first stage I was in manual gear mode. I always use auto mode (yes I know, tut tut).

Anyway, it threw me off and I ended up quiting the rally after I had hit so many rocks, trees etc it wasnt funny.

Is this just a bug because the rally was set up in .60? Or will .70 always default to manual gears??

Actually, it's a big question wether it's bug or feature Wink
