You can adjust the shifter by moving forward - backward.

The construction is very strong too (predrilled holes for shifter).

Nevim no, když koukam na ty videa tak se ten ,,stoleček" ( na němž je přikurtovanej volant ) dosti klepe a hýbe. Takže bych tomu dával životnost maximálně měsíc.

Hi everyone!

Dunno if this has been posted before - on this video you can see me driving.

So you probably think that you will be bothered by the tiny flex of the steering wheel mount. I guarnatee you that you won't

Tommorow I will record myself driving RallySchool or Cote'D'arbroz or NewBobs or something so you all can see it works perfectly

And my RBR FFB is not set to default 100% in-game, it is increased via Physics.lsp, also ConstantForceMultiplier is turned off.

Expect the video tommorow or Friday!

huh....my opinion is, that this wreck can not whitstand wibrations from G25 for more, than 100 km in RBR....u see this man how his wheel is moving.... no way man...give us -50% and we will see, what to do

I'm driving RallySchool stage on that video, yes I know it should been uploaded a lot before, but I've got sick, and was in hospital till 6 days ago...
Anyway, since I have the seat and wheel, it did a lot more than a 100km in RBR. Yes, it moves. But fact is, even this moving looks like a lot - in fact it isn't that much. Steering wheel pipe is so stiff that it actually moves whole construcion left-right on the middle section of the seat - section where front legs and pedal mount are connected. Under it is a rubber band and on it the most of the movement is produced.

But really this doesn't bother you. Driving on RinoSeat is great experience, yet it is very comfortable. Also, since I've got it my pedal controling skill has increased - thanks to the right sitting position, long leg support - with this your feet are unloaded which enables to control pedals much better and easier.

...In that time I travel about 10.000 km and seat is like NEW!! The seat is very very comfort and feeling is great...

...This seat is not totally stiff construction. It have an very small amount of flexibility almost as vibrations. To me this really bring something extra to the driving! The driving have become more alive. I can actually feel what the car is up to, an extra feed back. You become one with the car. I might add I always drive in cockpit view. ...I tried to move it strongly while out of the seat and it does move. But later, when I was driving, I didn't feel the move, it feels, as someone mentioned earlier, as if you were driving a car with suspension. Another reason for that is that i don't push the wheel back and forward like a joystick, I simply turn it left-right around it's axis...I also really liked the fact that you can feel the FF effects almost trough all your body. This brings in a new dimension in simracing, you can feel every bump, curb or reving the engine...

...Att gå över från skrivbordsstol på hjul och konstig vinkel på ryggen till det här tog lite tid att vänja sig vid, men efter ett par race nu så är jag helnöjd. Jag sitter mycket bättre och det känns mycket mer riktigt att köra så här. En sak som har diskuterats är flexandet som är inbyggt, framför allt i rattstången. Det är inget jag har märkt av alls när jag kört, allting känns väldigt stabilt när man kör och något flex tänker man absolut inte på.
Jag har testat att bromsa med hela kroppen hårt, verkligen trycka ifrån med ryggen och bromsfoten och tar man i ordentligt kan man känna att ryggstödet ger efter lite grann. Men inte så att det störs, och så hårt som det krävs för att det ska ske bromsar jag aldrig med hela kroppen. Behöver man det känns det som man bör se över sin körning istället.
Nu har jag inte efterspänt allt än, och allt är inte superhårt åtdraget så överlag skulle jag säga att det är närmast noll flex i det här sätet. Allting känns stabilt...

...Onto the steering wheel mount. So this is what I also didn't like when I saw the pictures. And also I was thinking will it move all over the placewhen I push it really hard, as can be seen in the video linked above.
So, it does move a bit. But not the way You may think it moves. The creator of teh seat gave me the pipe which holds the wheel. It has very large torsional rigidity and it is pretty impossible to apply tiny distortion to it, bending is absolutley impossible. OK, back on topic - it moves, but not itself - it actually "moves" whole construction - thats how rigid it is!
And it does one damn good effect - it transfers the FF efects right onto your body! Not all effects can be felt - going over the curbs is like-never-before, also hitting the wall - but thats not what we want ...


CONSTRUCTION:

Connection between the wheel tube and the wheel table - WIG WELDING

It consists:
steel triangle 3mm
hydraulic tube 20mm/2mm

Connection between the wheel tube and the seat base - WIG WELDING

It consists:
steel 4mm (part with two holes)
steel 6mm (part with thread)
steel 3mm (left and right side)

Connection between the seat base and the seat back - WIG WELDING

It consists:
steel 5mm

We used CAD/CAE software for designing such form of steel, and it was one of biggest problems in construction. Seat back is very heigh (80cm), and because of the long arm he produces strong force.

You can't see that on pictures, but in structure of all Rinoseat are many steel reinforces.

Rinoseat looks minimalistic (and it is light, only 10kg and low cost too), but such type of design was enormous problem for construction.
